4th Friday ArtWalk Festival

A new and exciting 4th Friday ArtWalk is being kicked off on May 23, 2008 from 6 - 9PM. The East Valley Art Guild, known for creating upscale art events, has partnered with Mesa Riverview as the home for the monthly 4th Friday ArtWalk.
The Fourth Friday ArtWalk features Fine Art and Fine Craft from juried local and regional artists and artisans. Artists will display original arts and crafts, including painting, sculpture, glasswork, and photography. Roving musicians will be intermingling with artists and guests.
"We expect the 4th Friday ArtWalk to become the number one monthly arts ritual in the East Valley. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with artists from all over the valley in one spectacular evening setting at the fabulous Mesa Riverview. "We are very excited about the variety and caliber of the work that will be shown." states Salvatore Costanza, co-founder of the East Valley Art Guild and ArtWalk event chair, "This will be the first of several major art events in Mesa, Gilbert, and Tempe...and we value the artistic and cultural experience these cultural enriching events offers the community."
The East Valley Art Guild is proud to be the one of the organizers of this premiere arts event, and encourages East Valley art lovers to come out and enjoy the festivities. The free monthly festival is expected to bring thousands of visitors to Mesa Riverview each month, and gives attendees an opportunity to spend an evening enjoying the Mesa Riverview Theater District's Avenue for the Arts, along with the sights, sounds and tastes of the event's festive atmosphere.
Mesa Riverview is a 250-acre retail, development conveniently located along the Rio Salado corridor near ASU, Tempe, Mesa, and Scottsdale, where Dobson Road and Loop 202 converge. It includes 1.3 million square feet of retail, anchored by Arizona's only Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, the Valley's first Cinemark Theatre, and an eclectic selection of specialty shops located in the Theater District (Mesa Riverview's "Main Street" area).
