Hello Fellow Pet Owners,
My name is Rob. I just browsed again all the listings here and found that most of you are asking about boarding experiences and recommendations for good kennels. Well, I would like to let you know that I would not recommend bringing any dog to a kennel or boarding facility. The reasons are many: High prices (most kennels ask $60 or more a day, with the average boarding facility charging a ridiculous $75 per night), sub-standard handling of your dog, potential of diseases and most of all little if any exercise and play-time.
When I ran into the challenge to board my two Great Danes (11 months old) and encountered that it was all money oriented, I decided to help out and offered my own home with large yard for individuals who do not want to have their 4-legged friend go through sometimes traumatic experiences.
I live in a quiet community called "Magic Ranch" (off of Hunt Highway) in a 3 bedroom house with large yard and several lush grassy areas for dogs to play on. I am a fraud investigator for insurance companies and have therefore a lot of time on my hands and would like to offer to board your beloved dog when the time comes for you to go on vacation or other occasions.
Your dog would have two balanced, friendly and playful dogs to play with and would never be kenneled. I have a large breed enclosure, but the door is always open and is only being used for nappies and to chew on bones. Your dog would have free access to the entire house and 24/7 supervision and personal attention.
Sleeping is allowed anywhere in the house and daily walks, playtime of at least 4 hours and if desired the "Cosmo" dog park (#1 in the nation) at least twice a week are guaranteed. Administering medication is no problem and access to a vet (if necessary) is only 2 minutes away. Many kids whose sole entertainment is meeting my two dogs every day would become your friends as well. The backyard area is secured and is left semi-natural (no cacti or other harmful vegetation) with lots of room to sniff around. A kiddy pool is present to cool off whenever he wants to (supervised, of course.)
Overall, your dog would be treated as one of mine and spoiled rotten.
If needed, your dog will be picked up and dropped off at no extra charge in a converted sedan with an almost queen size "bed" in the back. Access to the rear is lowed to accommodate older dogs or dogs with hip problems to enter/exit without problems.
The fee per diem is a low 20 dollars without extra charges for medicating, bathing (if desired) or routine maintenance such as ear/eye cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing and daily temperature taking (if desired.)
If this offer sounds as good as it is to you, I would love to talk to you further to discuss other important details. I can be reached 24/7 at (520) 252-9936 or at rob37phoenix@yahoo.com
Again, this is not a professional corporation or a money oriented franchise, just a neighborhood "dog hotel" for individuals who don't want to have their friend in a cage 80% of the time.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
