opportunities afforded by Craig's List and eBay.
If you have been intimidated by eBay and do not know
how to maximize your presence on Craig's List, I can help
you master both.
If obtained with the purchase of
print and media advertising, the cost of the
WORLDWIDE EXPOSURE
you can obtain with
GUERRILLA MARKETING
on Craig’s List and eBay
would be wholly impractical.
I can create a template for you listings for Craig’s List and eBay that
have as much content - text, photos and, if appropriate,
audio links – as many standalone sites, and are on
TWO OF THE MOST VISITED SITES ON THE WEB.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
Bells and whistles do not help you sell, especially if they take extra time to load.
A listing that is clean and uncluttered and loads quickly and seamlessly as the
viewers scroll down, as in this Craig’s List posting of mine,
will emphasize your art,
not the prowess of your Webmaster.

You do not get the impact with photos that are uploaded to the sites as
you do with LARGE photos inserted into the listings with HTML.
That photo could be larger but it still shows detail
that an image merely uploaded to Craig’s List or eBay would not.
It is nice to be able to do this when you want to really show detail.
Of course, with this template you can gain
exposure for many works from your portfolio,
not just the original or print you are trying to sell.
I once listed a children’s book on eBay that I bought for a dime or so at a yard
sale. The most recent one sold was described as “MINT” and sold for $125. The seller
included only a photo of the cover. Mine was not MINT. I included large photos of the
front, back, spine and edges and about a dozen more shots of the inside, showing both minor
wear and pages that were MINT. My less than perfect example sold for $200!
With multiple listings each listing can reference the other listings.
That is very important if you are listing in more than one category.
With multiple listings you can include different
pieces from your portfolio in each one.
If you are listing more than one print, when you list the second one, you can
Include
a link for the first one and go back to the first one and put a link for the second.
That
takes only a couple of minutes and makes it more convenient for viewers.
For a one-time fee of only $100
I will create a template for you and teach you how to make
IN-HOUSE
changes easily and quickly.
If you are using the template, you can promote your talents
without having to use a lot of time that could be spent creating.
The main requirement that any images you want must be uploaded to
the Web space provided by your ISP. That will yield a URL like this:
http://members.cox.net/bobr/Item1.jpg
Compared to what you might spend on a standalone site located in some
hinterland of the World Wide Web, the service is worth much more.
BE READY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AN IMPROVING ECONOMY!
