Collins College is looking for an Adjunct Instructor!

Provide fully prepared current instruction to students; actively engage in retention activities.

Teach courses as assigned by Program Chair up to the maximum number of contact hours allowed by current accreditation In case of emergency, provide a qualified, prepared substitute who must be approved by the Program Chair prior to class Actively engage in retention activities including documented communication with both students and administration regarding attendance and progress Work with Program Chair to resolve student concerns Provide annual documentation of continuing professional growth Attend scheduled program meetings, school in-service workshops and college-wide faculty meetings as possible Adhere to and publicly support school policies and procedures, included but not limited to the faculty handbook and catalog

Required Skills

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must possess and demonstrate strong leadership skills; show initiative, dependability and reliability

Required Experience

Must have at least 4 years of experience with ProTools, or ProTools (LE) Prior post-secondary teaching experience preferred Bachelor’s degree Required Experience and education qualifications that are in accordance with “Instructors” with ACCSCT “Standards of Accreditation.”
