The Art Center Design College is a private, regionally accredited college offering Bachelor of Arts degrees in art & design. The Art Center Design College has two locations in the southwest, one in Tucson, Arizona and another in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are currently seeking a full time Associate Dean of Student Affairs for our Albuquerque campus. Applicant must be willing to train at the Tucson campus for 6-8 weeks.
The Associate Dean of Student Affairs is responsible for leadership for the following processes: Student Services, academic planning and advising, student advocacy, student activities, alumni affairs and quality of the overall student experience.
The College seeks an individual who will articulate and advance the mission of the College and the department. The successful candidate will be a progressive leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The successful applicant must:
Use College resources effectively to promote and support the mission and vision of The Art Center Design College in the process of;
Course scheduling
Training and development of support personnel
Academic advising
Foster an environment of continuous and open communication with students and staff.
Work collaboratively with College administration to assure high quality services in a safe and engaging learning environment.
Approach all projects with positivity, enthusiasm and humility.
Serve as an advocate for the College and provide positive leadership.
Support diversity, gender equity, and fair treatment of all individuals.

Desired Qualifications:
Hold a Master’s degree, in Higher Education or a discipline related to working with students.
Possess administrative experience with strong skills in communication, consensus building and multidisciplinary cooperation.
Possess skills in prioritizing, organizing, delegating and coordinating complex tasks with attention both to overall goals and specific details under strict time constraints.
Possess skills in leadership and teambuilding.
Be able to work a flexible schedule.
