This position involves staffing, managing and working promotions primarily in the off-premise (chain stores, big box, independent liquor stores, etc) and guerrilla market style events (college samplings, etc). The position is part time and home office based reporting to our divisional office. As a market manager you must have reliable transportation to distribute supplies and get to events, a computer with internet access to upload reports and recaps and a digital camera to take pictures at events.

Compensation is paid on a per event basis and based on the number of events managed. The typical hourly pay for working the events is $25 per hour with most shifts being 3-4 hours. The Maricopa LGBT Consortium, in collaboration with One Voice Community Center is seeking small groups (8 to 12 individuals per group) to be brought together for in-depth discussions on select topics. Currently we are seeking participants for focus groups on substance abuse and suicide. Personal views and/or experience will be discussed. The information collected from the groups will help the public and the government better understand the health concerns for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals in Maricopa County. With this information, improvements can be made in prevention strategies, public health programs, and the health care system.

This is seeking to recruit Older Adults (age 55+) who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender to participate.
