Operates and maintains radiological and cine processing equipment. Performs quality control procedures according to the department policies and procedures. Assists the physician as scrub or circulating technician during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures. Assist with preparation of the patients for these procedures and maintains a therapeutic environment. Records events during these procedures. Enforces radiation safety principles. Assists with patient transportation. Participates in quality control, preventative maintenance and performance activities. Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined heath care team. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies as outlined in CVL Competency Assessment tools. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.
Full-time, Days, 10 Hour Shift
Basic Qualifications (required): California Radiological Technology (CRT) Certification.
ARRT Registry or equivalent, Fluoro certificate.
Minimum Qualifications (required): BLS for Health Care Provider required upon hire.
Technical competence in aspects of patient monitoring, diagnostic/therapeutic cardiovascular technology.Ability to manage/prioritize during a crisis or stressful situation.Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English.
Preferred Qualifications: Prefer one or more years recent experience in an interventional setting.
