Shift Hours: 10 Hr Shift
Position Profile: Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patient’s care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies as outlined in CVL Competency Assessment tools. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.
Basic Qualifications (required): Current California RN license required upon date of hire. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
Minimum Qualifications (required): BLS for Health Care Provider, current ACLS certification through American Heart Association required upon date hire. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors. Must have previous RN acute care experience.
Preferred Qualifications Critical Care, Cathlab or Electrophysiology nursing experience strongly preferred.
