Mercury Delivery Services a statewide courier and expedited transportation company in Phoenix, Arizona, is looking for a motivated Sales Representative to increase revenue in the Phoenix, AZ area. The position is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to interface with local and national companies while being compensated for their success. The position requires phone, face to face and direct mail contact with potential customers. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently and in conjunction with upper management. Please note: for this position you must have previous sale or marketing experience in transportation, courier or messenger service
JOB PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to generate revenue by developing market potential through lead generation, customer qualification, closing sales and recommending new products and services.
DUTIES:
1. Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts.
2. Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial impression; understanding account requirements.
3. Closes sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
4. Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
5. Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.

Compensation included $10 per hour and commission plan based on sales revenue growth.
