We are a national event marketing and promotions agency seeking a Market Manager for events in the Phoenix metro area. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for the multi-tasker who enjoys coordinating events, managing people, and working promotions.
We work mainly in the consumer beverage industry (beer, wine, spirits, water, energy drinks, etc.) so familiarity with these types of events is a plus, but not necessary. The ideal candidate is someone who will be able to staff, manage and organize events, work the events and be an effective communicator with our clients and customers. This position involves staffing, managing and working promotions primarily in the off-premise (chain stores, big box, independent liquor stores, etc) and guerrilla market style events (college samplings, etc). If you have a roster of staff that you manage for other promotional programs or if you have experience with beverage promotions you are encouraged to apply.
The position is part time and home office based reporting to our divisional office. As a market manager you must have reliable transportation to distribute supplies and get to events, a computer with internet access to upload reports and recaps and a digital camera to take pictures at events.
Compensation is paid on a per event basis and based on the number of events managed. The typical hourly pay for working the events is $25 per hour with most shifts being 3-4 hours. Many events will be in the late afternoon/evening Thurs - Sun, but there may be some events earlier and on other days during the week so a flexible schedule is a must. This position may be ideal for somebody with other promotional jobs who is looking for some additional part time work.
