FRONTEND DEVELOPER
A Phoenix interactive agency is seeking a Front-end Developer to join its growing, tight-knit team. The successful candidate will be passionate about turning design files into pixel-perfect XHTML and CSS mark up, relying on Javascript libraries like jQuery to enhance the user experience.
We are looking for someone who:
Can translate design files into interactive interfaces with hand-coded, semantic XHTML and CSS.
Can write unobtrusive Javascript by hand that utilizes libraries like jQuery.
Is a team player. The successful candidate has excellent written and communication skills, incredible focus and attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a sometimes-tense environment.
Adheres to Web standards, best practices, and accessibility and usability guidelines.
Possesses proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator.
Knows his/her way around PHP and MySQL.
Can Maintain existing Web sites (through a custom-built content-management system), including deploying new features
Can manage and update domain names, including mail records
Can provide support as needed to technical team
Has bachelors degree, plus at least two years of front-end Web development experience, preferably within an agency environment.
