Lovely architect-designed contemporary house in SW Portland (3 bedrooms, 2 baths) with beautiful gardens on cul-de-sac in very quiet neighborhood. 7 minutes from downtown by car; public transportation nearby. Dates and length of exchange totally flexible. We are two semi-retired adults who love to travel.
Portland is a very vibrant, cultural and GREEN city and an ideal location from where to explore the rest of this beautiful state. One hour drive to the Oregon coast, wine country is 1/2 hour away. 1 1/2 hour to Mt. Hood where you can ski all year around; winter AND summer; wind surfing or kite boarding in the Columbia Gorge; deep sea fishing on the coast, white water rafting; biking, hiking and much more. Oregon is the idea spot for outdoor lovers, a place where a vacation can be anything you want it to be.
