This group is for people interested in swapping quality clothing with other members. If you have kids who are constantly outgrowing their clothes, or if you just want to clean out your own closet, why not bring them to a swap meeting and take home something you can use?
At this time, we will meet once a month at various places around town. In the future, we might add more swaps if they are wanted and well attended. We have a $10 membership fee to help cover the costs of the swaps. This is a yearly fee-you can come to as many swaps as you want in one year for $10. If you have not attended a swap before, you can come to your first swap for free to check it out. If you love it, join us for just $10 and come every month or just once or twice a year. You can pay by paypal on the front page or by revolution money exchange using the button posted above. Please contact me if you cannot use one of these two payment methods.

We will be looking for input from members on how to make each swap as great as it can be. I appreciate any feedback you give me, as that helps me know what everyone likes. Without feedback, I just go on what I like.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We will also have some basic rules to follow to ensure a good swap. These will be updated as necessary as we see what works for our members on each swap.

1. No undergarments!

2. Please only bring good quality clothing for swapping. No worn, torn, or stained clothing. Also, please don't bring all your out of date items from the disco era.

3. No fighting over clothes! Please respect all the other swappers.

That's all the rules for now. I am planning on one swap a month for now. I hope to add more as needed.

You bring clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, accessories to the swap location. At the swap, you will either hand over your clothes to the sorter who will then sort them into sizes/gender or, you might be asked to put your items out in the appropriate spots designated by sizes. (Depending on how much help I have at each swap)
While the clothing is sorted, there will be snacks and drinks and you can mingle with other swappers. Depending on the time available, you may have time to "browse" before swapping actually begins. At the designated time, I will say "go" and the swapping begins. Think of it like a big yard sale, except free.

-I cannot guarantee you will find anything you like or anything in your size. This is a chance you take when coming to a swap.

-I am not a charity and therefore, cannot give you a receipt for your donation. I just drop off the donations after every swap as a convenience. If you need a receipt for you taxes, it would be best for you to take your clothing that is left over and donate them on your own.

-The more people who come, the more chances there are that there will be something for everyone. So invite a friend! Better yet, invite a friend who is your size or who's kids are a little bigger than yours.

-This swap is meant to be meet others, clean out your closets and find some new to you items you really love! It is not a place to sell or buy clothes.

-As stated above, I cannot guarantee you will find anything you want. As such, I cannot guarantee an even exchange of items. As everyone who particpates is different with different tastes, sizes, family members, etc. there is no way I can make sure everyone leaves with the same amount of items they came with. You just might not find as many items you like compared to the number of items you brought. You might also find more items you like than the number of items you brought. It's all chance and there are no guarantees.

-We had a very friendly and giving attitude at the first swap. As the swaps get bigger, I'd like to keep that atmosphere. Therefore, anyone causing problems at a swap will not be allowed to swap again. In general, play nice! And have fun!

-Most swaps will be open to women, men, and children. I will try to have changing areas at each swap. But for convenience, you could also dress in clothing that is easy to try stuff on over it. Like a tank top, exercise clothing, leggings, etc. We want to keep it a family friendly event and don't want to see people stripping down to try on clothes.
