Coach Counselor/ Youth WorkerRite of Passage, Inc., is a residential at-risk youth facility. Our Queen Creek, Arizona, location is called Canyon State Academy. For over 20 years we have been recognized for improving the lives of youth. Our program is unique, well respected and successful. Our coach counselors work a 3 ½ day work week that do require overnights. As part of that 3 ½ day shift coach counselors and group leaders are required to sleep on site.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age. Must have a minimum of a total of 12 months working with youth (8 -18), either in a paid or volunteer status (i.e.: YMCA, sports coach, Boy Scouts, Church, etc.), ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card, pass drug screening and pre-employment physical, must possess a high school diploma or GED, current valid driver’s license, and be able to secure a 39 month driving record. In addition will commit to staying overnight on campus while on shift.
