We are A Special Connection Foundation looking for exciting, energetic, and outgoing people to provide Respite, Habilitation, and Attendant care for children with disabilities.
Respite is one on one care that allows parents to take a break from the demands of raising someone with special needs
Habilitation is one on one care with clients helping them learn independent life skills using positive teaching strategies.
Attendant Care is a personalized care service where the provider helps the client to perform self helps activities.
Our center is based in Mesa on Gilbert Road, north of US-60, in the same plaza as Native New Yorker.
Experience is a plus. CPR and First Aid, Fingerprint Clearance card, Article 9 are all required but we will train and help get all necessary certifications. (Sending you in the right direction for the classes we don't offer training for)
This is a rewarding job working one on one with people with special needs and helping with daily life skills.
