JOB SUMMARY - Shall design and prepare complete and accurate working plans, charts, scale drawings, and revisions for complex projects, integrating skilled drafting methods and procedures with the operation and application of computer-aided design (CAD) equipment and software. RESPONSIBILITIES - Design and prepare product CAD models and engineering drawings from observation, measurements, sketches and specifications, utilizing CAD software; review and revise drawings and Bills of Material. Organize and maintain archive files of CAD drawings; assist with organizing and storing electronic engineering drawing files; set and maintain standard for CAD drawing templates to ensure consistency and accuracy within the company. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities, Knowledge of computer programs such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Word, Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, Knowledge of technical drawing Ability to analyze product designs and translate into drawings. Ability to pay close attention to detail.
