Do you have faith in Christ, but feel that something is missing in your life? Do have a thirst and hunger for God’s word and righteousness, but somehow the church has fallen short of what you think it should be? Maybe you don’t even go to church anymore, because something just wasn’t right about it, or you haven’t been able to find the right church. Do you find yourself struggling to make enough money, have harmonious relationships and have peace with God? Do you often think, there has to be more to life than what I am doing, and know deep down inside you know you have a special gift or talent that you are not using fully for the kingdom of God?

I have been feeling the same way for a number of years and have come to the realization that something is missing in the church in America today. It seems to be void of power to do anything miraculous and supernatural as in the first church in the book of Acts. I have realized that I have a gift, but have not found a place to use it. I need to be around like-minded people who can help each other by using their gifts to serve one another. So God has given me a vision to start a unique kind of group consisting of a limited number of like-minded men who possess different spiritual gifts for the express purpose of mutual edification and glorification of God as stated in Eph 4:11-16

11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

This has been my life verse, and I believe that this is the primary purpose of the body of Christ. This is where I think most churches fall short of building each other up to COMPLETE maturity. I believe that if a group of men comes together specifically for that purpose that God will greatly empower them to do all He has called them to do. I believe that the primary emphasis of the church in America is placed on evangelism which focuses on those outside the body, before it has made sure that all of the members within the body are mature and not lacking in anything before they are sent out.

I have many ideas about this group, but I want it to be designed so that all members have a voice, and will not be controlled by any one person. It is to be a safe place for all to share his ideas and collectively make decisions for the good of the group according to the word of God. I want to throw out any traditional ideas about what we have come to believe about church and look only to the word of God and model our group from the church in Acts. Initially, this group is not meant to be a church, but an open forum to discuss our beliefs and from that discussion and our collective input, come up with a new way of doing things to form the kind of church that God desires that worships in spirit and in truth. It is meant only to be a seed to create a model of the true church of Christ to usher in the last days. Although I say it is to form a "new way", it is really the original way and God’s true intent for the body of Christ.

I have been to many different types of churches from fundamental to Pentecostal and I have yet to see the authentic manifestation of ALL of the spiritual gifts. I am looking for something true and pure that God can use and bless whose guidance comes directly from the head. I am not interested in those who simply want to make noise to draw attention to themselves, but to humbly seek all the gifts of in order to exalt Christ who said in John 14:12-14

12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

I believe that God has given us life to live as an adventure and not to be lived as a boring routine, just trying to manage to pay our bills and get by. He has called us to something greater and much more significant than the world has to offer if we would only step into the story He has written for us.


Like I said, I am only looking for a limited number of men, 11 to be exact to be members of this group. I am looking for each member to have a different spiritual gift from the rest so as to maximize its effectiveness. So if your spirit has been stirred by this posting, and what I have written resonates in you, please contact me as soon as possible. I am excited to begin the process of forming this group and seeing what God is going to do through it. If you are not a believer in Christ, have no interest in this group, or want to find fault with anything in this posting, don’t waste your time in responding, because I don’t have time for you. I will only respond to those who sincerely desire to be part of something special, and your comments will not even be read if they not in line with what I have written.
