DRAFT Publishing, publishers of the men’s lifestyle magazine DRAFT is looking for a designer to join their editorial team located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Qualified candidates should have obtained a degree in design or the equivalent level of experience and have a proven ability to design editorial pages that speak to a consumer audience. Still photography skill, lighting acumen, and experience silhouetting product shots and image editing are required. Candidates must demonstrate strong software skills (including Quark, Photoshop, and Illustrator), extreme attention to detail, past experience in deadline-driven environments, a confident work ethic and team-oriented attitude. Magazine or newspaper layout experience is preferred. This position is part-time, with the potential to be full-timed based on performance.
