Good point....who the hell is Rewind anyway? I noticed they don't even list a website or a myspace when posting about their cheesy gigs. Beyond that, do you really think that a cover band voted Best of Anything would be performing at that dump Pappy's? Just the fact that they play there tells you what caliber they are. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for promoting your band as best as you can. I also agree that sometimes its ok for bands to maybe over describe themselves in ads so people might actually go see them but you have to draw the line somewhere guys.

By the way, I'm not sure where this "voting was" but her is my short list of BEST PHOENIX AREA COVER BANDS:

Metal Head
Rock Lobster
Furious George
The Walkens
Capital Down
The Crown Kings

By all means..go see Rewind and THEN go see one of these bands and you'll see what I mean. In the end its all about having fun and maybe making a few bucks but please try not to over inflate your self by posing as something that you are clearly not. Peace
