DATA CENTER SERVER TECH
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 Years experience working in a Data Center environment
Familiar with both Windows and Linux servers
2-3 years experience dealing with servers specifically, hardware, software, O/S and troubleshooting.
Manage new installation, confirm and track vendor services available (telco, power, etc.)
Manage and receive equipment match to manifest and orders.
Ability to setup – pre-configured servers for new Data Center
Ability to setup and configure Server Hardware
Install and configure server hard drives (Hot Plug), Upgrade Server Memory, Test Systems
Troubleshoot and Diagnose Server configuration errors and resolve as required.
Familiar with installation and configuration of Server O/S (Microsoft and Linux O/S)
Familiar with server hardware and software.
A+ Certification, MCSE or MCP = are a plus
Other :
Good communications and customer service skills
Candidate should have good communication skill with professional appearance.
Must be punctual, reliable, dependable and a team player.
Ability to follow instructions & complete task as required.
Candidate must past background check before placed on this assignment
Candidate may be required to take a drug test
