Sessions Online School of Design is seeking Admissions Advisors to manage Student Applications and Enrollments, field applicant inquiries, and aid incoming students for degrees and programs in the fields of graphic design, web design, and digital arts. The position is full-time, on-site, at our Tempe, AZ office.
You are enthuisatic about the creative arts and continuing education, and gifted with superb communication skills, be it online or on the phone. As a mentor for incoming college students and adult learner, you will be a voice of confidence and inspiration as they review their educational aspirations in the creative arts and select a program and plan that is appropriate for their professional goals.
Experience with sales or admissions, particularly in the area of distance learning, is desirable. Applicant tracking and management is also critical for this position, so experience and expertise with forecasting, lead management and online networking tools are also strong requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming student inquiries through phone, email and chat
- Advise applicants on design programs and enrollment
- Track and rate applicants in lead databases
- Analyze applicant potential through cross-reference of history and interactions
- Remove roadblocks to student enrollment
- Meet monthly goals for enrollment and conversion
Requirements:
- AS degree or higher, in field of design or visual arts
- Demonstration of superior writing ability
- Min. 1 year experience in professional design and/or academic advisement
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in online communications and community
