We are a 5 year old national publishing company based in Scottsdale with great vision. Our publications, media, digital products and online content are of the highest standards, relevant and meant to entice readership and engage consumers.
We are in the midst of an exciting period of growth and opportunity and are seeking experienced freelance writers and editors for our You Are Here publications, real estate publications and business-to-business magazines. Candidates with impressive writing skills, online media experience and strong leadership skills to help guide our organization are a plus. We are interested in filling this post as soon as possible; the position is based in Scottsdale but may work on publications in Central Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Northwest Valley cities and Tucson.
Qualifications required:
At least five years of editorial/writing experience
Experience working with diverse, strong-minded, and talented team of staff and freelancers
Demonstrated ability to connect to local businesses, organizations and opportunities to get the best possible content
Understanding of the opportunities and challenges of deadlines
Highly developed knowledge of current events and dedication to enticing, intelligent journalism
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and thrive under multiple deadlines
Grace under pressure and a great sense of humor
Fees will depend on experience.
