Quickie 2 manual wheelchair with ALL the upgrades - JAY & free frame - $500 (Chandler)
I bought this new from Spinlife in 2006. It was used it for a couple of months to transport to and from school. Would work for an older child or smaller adult. It is in amazing shape. The footplates are dinged a little and the seatbelt needs a good cleaning. Her insurance company wanted to buy her a piece of crap, I went to the opposite extreme. I still have the receipts for the wheelchair, Jay cushion, and Jay active back. Not for the new seat cover though. It is a Quickie 2 folding wheelchair, Razzleberry color (shiny purple), frame is 13"-16" length and 14" wide, sling depth of 15", tall back height (15.5"-19"), 8 degree push handle, padded swing away arm rests, 90 degree sling away foot rests, 22" MAg rear wheels, Pneumatic (airless) tires, quick release axle, aluminum anodized handrims, 4" micro lighted casters (they light up all different colors when moving, really cool except in movie theatres), high push wheel locks, 2" wide aircraft buckle, transit system including stabilizer bar. That is all the wheelchair. I also bought a 2" Jay Basic foam wheelchair cushion, 14" x 16". The zipper broke off of the cushion but I bought a new ROHO cover that I never put on. The cover with the broken zipper is the waterproof, incontinence style, I believe, and stays on fine without the zipper. The ROHO cover will fit over the old cover. I also bought a Jay active quick release 15" back for it. It is really nice and curves with the back for comfort. The picture shows the sling back, I put that back on the wheelchair for storage. When I bought the wheelchair they said I could get a new frame for free within 3 years. I guess a bigger size or just replace the one on there. So if a male wanted to buy it, you could probably get a manly color for free (may have to pay shipping, can't remember). You would just have to call Spinlife for all of the details. I will give you the receipt so you will have all of the information.
The wheelchair and seat cushion came to $1683.35 and the back was $218.00. The ROHO cover was $45 but I lost the receipt. Everything in beyond amazing shape for less than half the new price. Please email for more info and pictures. You are getting a great buy.
