Casa Grande's Social & Active is a unique, one of a kind, group based out of Casa Grande, Arizona. We're currently at over 70 members, CGSA's as we're commonly known. We are extremely diversified. We don't care how old you are as long as you're over 21. We don't care if you're single, married, divorced, widowed, separated, you get the picture. We don't care about race, color, origin or sexual orientation. All we care about is that our members are 'good' warm-hearted, friendly people who love to do activiites, build friendships and kick it & relax together. Oh, and CGSA's don't do drama and we are not a dating site.
We were founded over a year ago and are approaching our 150th event! Check out our website and see what you think. We are always looking for more friendly, outgoing fun individuals, couples and families to join our mix and expand on the already fantastic personality of the group.
We hold new member socials every month. They alternate between Starbucks (Family Friendly) and Happy Hours (Adults Only).
There is a book club, a monthly Texas Hold Em' poker night, bi-weekly local hikes, a monthly movie outing and a monthly dinner get together. We're currently working on a monthly bunco team. The newest, newest development is cycling meetups. The first one will be on the calendar shortly. The second newest is golf meetups. We just keep expanding and growing.
On top of all this, we sprinkle other activities in the mix as well. We attend just about all community functions, party in the parks and arts and crafts fairs. We also do community service and volunteer work when the opportunity arises. We have adopted our own 'mile' with the City of Casa Grande (Cottonwood Lane)to clean twice a year.

1) "Greater Tuna" production at the Paramount Theatre (May)

2) Races at the Central Arizona Raceway (May)
3) San Tan Flat Outing (June)
4) Moonlight Kayak Paddle @ Tempe Town Lake (July)
5) Tubing the Salt River (will be posted soon - July)
6) Game Night - Poker, Darts, Pool, Charades & Pictionary (July)
And the big one! CGSA's are going on a Royal Caribbean cruise in January of 2009! There's still room for you :).
Other activities due to hit our calendar are family & adult only summer pool parties, dog park outings, Diamondbacks Games, Ostrich Farm Outing, Outdoor Games and more.
