Blue merle Aussie spotted in Desert Hills (1 St & Irvine)

I received a call from a nice person who thought they had seen my lost Australian Shepherd. When I got there I sadly discovered it was not my dog. It was a nice looking Aussie, however, blue merle, possibly a miniature. It has been hanging in that area for about 2 months and is terrified of people. No one has been able to get close to it. It has an injured back foot, not sure which one, but is limping. Hopefully, the owner will see this and go after their pup. It appears to be so lonely and frightened and has come close to getting hit by cars several times, not to mention coyote bait.
