Overview

We are a national event marketing and promotions agency seeking a Market Manager for events in the Phoenix metro area. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for the multi-tasker who enjoys coordinating events, managing people, and working promotions.

We work mainly in the consumer beverage industry (beer, wine, spirits, water, energy drinks, etc.) so familiarity with these types of events is a plus, but not necessary. The ideal candidate is someone who will be able to staff, manage and organize events, work the events and be an effective communicator with our clients and customers. This position involves staffing, managing and working promotions primarily in the off-premise (chain stores, big box, independent liquor stores, etc) and guerrilla market style events (college samplings, etc). We are looking for an inside salesperson to call prospective customers (mostly small businesses) and send them information about our company. This is a Non-aggressive cold calling position. Most of these calls will be informational and a request to send them information about our products and services. You will send them information via emails and catalogs. You will also �follow-up� with them after a week. 60% of the prospective customers are very interested in our products. There are no �hard- selling� techniques. Most of your time will be spent calling prospective customers, providing information and taking orders.

We will provide you with a list of businesses to contact. You will focus on one specific industry such as: floral, event planning, nightclubs, hotels, interior designers, etc.

You must have knowledge and experience of one of the industries mentioned above. You will start as a part-time salesperson for two weeks and then transition into a full-time job if you can produce results. This is a base pay ($10.00 per hour) with commission. Pay scale: low end is about $25,000. high-end is about $65,000. Average is $38,000. You will work from our offices near downtown Phoenix.

Experience, sales skills and excellent communication skills is more important than a degree.

This is also an excellent entry level sales position requiring only that you have good personal people skills. The product will sell itself once you present it.
