I'm in my 50's ..just to get that out of the way.
If you want to do some 50's/60's even some 70's and newer rock let me know.
Some REAL Blues...ya know from the 30's?
A lot of "B" sides as well...along with some "fun" songs.
A few originals too...bring some of your own.
I don't care if you're a beginner just as long as you want to build something and have the patience to put together a "sound".
I can even teach you to sing better.
You must be drug and disease free (that means alcoholism).
I have drums set up...PA on the way...practice space.

If you want to be in charge go start you're own band...this one will be mine (no hard feelings...I'm just sick and tired of my ideas not getting through).

This unique program, developed at the Amsterdam Conservatory by Rafael Reina, focuses on rhythmical complexities derived from the theory of South Indian classical music (Karnatic music) for use in a western contemporary context. The final goal for the student is to gain the tools for analyzing and performing contemporary music with rhythmic challenges (e.g. music written by Ligeti, Stockhausen, Xenakis, Carter, and Ferneyhough, among many others) as well as composing and improvising his/her own music.
The material is presented intuitively and progressively. Concepts studied include different types of tala constructions (rhythmic cycles), polyrhythms, polypulses, irregular groupings, number sequences, and structural metrical modulations.
Further explorations into microtonality (Indian tuning system of 22 srutis/pitches) and just intonation (tuning system where intervals are related by whole number ratios, or the natural harmonic series) are optional.

11th Hour is looking for a mature piano/keyboard to play jazz/swing/standards. We are also developing variety sets playing music from the 60's, 70', & 80's.
We are looking for a keyboard player willing to learn the signature lines and intros as performed by the artist with some artistic license allowed during solos. In other words we want the songs recognizable. Practices are limited to a couple of Sundays per month. We each learn our parts at home and then put the songs together at rehearsal. We have 2-3 months before our next gig. Some of our gigs are not yet posted on the web site.

Singer and guitar player are looking for a drummer to start up a cover band. You'll need to have your own gear, your own transportation, be between 18 and 45, and have access to practice space. During the cooler months of the year we�ll be able to practice in my garage, but right now it�s not the kind of place you�ll want to be � HOT!.

So far our setlist includes bands like Weezer, Collective Soul, Everclear, Green Day, Radiohead, Live, etc. We'd like to keep the songs "upbeat" and fun. Stuff that keeps people up on the dance floor and singing along.

It's time again (July 12th) for our "second Saturday night of every month" Christian Music Open Mic Night at the Goodyear Community Center located in Loma Linda Park, 420 E. Loma Linda Blvd. in Goodyear. Can you bring your acoustic guitar and/or soundtracks and perform a couple of Christian songs? All genres of Gospel Music (Contemporary, Bluegrass, Christian Country, Southern Gospel, etc.) welcome...both covers and originals. Beginners are especially encouraged to try their wings performing because you won't find a more supportive audience anywhere. The show starts at 7:30 PM. We arrange the Community Center like a "coffeehouse" including spotlights and a sound system. If you are a good to great bassist and have decent gear , basic knowledge of song stucturing and have a sense of humor and like to play, then c'mon down for an audition and meet us. We just never had the money to get good recordings done.
