XML Technician Contract Work

Tax software company seeks a contract XML Technician to translate business tax returns into XML.

Ideal candidate will have experience with

• XML
• XSD
• Some familiarity with income tax returns helpful
• Some Perl experience would be helpful

The task is to read business tax returns containing sample taxpayer data, lookup the proper elements and hierarchy in one or more XSD files, and write the appropriate XML. There is no coding required per-se; the task is more about translation and conversion. Successful candidate will have strong XML background and possibly a background in income tax preparation.

Project is expected to take between 80 and 120 hours and we will pay a fixed price to the successful candidate of approximately $2,000. Work from your location.
