J. Scott & Company is a local, privately-held commercial brokerage providing real estate advisory services to its clients, including buy, sell, leasing representation and property management services for both single- and multi-tenant properties.
We are looking for 2 additional agents to assist with the leasing and sale of the 250,000 square feet of retail, office & investment space that we have available. You must be able to find tenants for the space we have for lease & generate new business as well.
Over the next few years there will be huge opportunities in the commercial real estate market. Building owners with vacancies will continue to be highly motivated to rent, tenants will continue to seek out cheaper rents and better managed properties, and a slow economic recovery will drive more people into starting their own businesses - increasing the demand for space.
You do not have to have a commercial real esate background for this position - we’ll train you.
But, you must be licensed, aggressive, have a business background, be money-motivated, and be willing to put in the time and effort to be one of the few who succeed in this business. Compensation is commission based only.
We currently employ six brokers who work as a team to represent clients in the sale, purchase, leasing and management of commercial property, investment property, multi-family property and land. Our brokers take the time to understand the client’s objectives and represent both buyers and sellers of commercial and investment real estate with a professional, strategic approach.
