HTML/CSS Coder – Scottsdale, AZ
Overview
Yodle is looking for a smart, energetic HTML/CSS website coder to join our in-house team. This individual will create and maintain stylish HTML/CSS brand templates for “Yodle” customers around the country. This person would also be responsible for regular maintenance and updates to our existing client’s websites, as well as code/design other Yodle properties. In this critical position, you are responsible for communicating a client's vision for their business via a website. This website will enable visitors to have a unique experience understanding the client's offering and how they can take advantage of the client's available services.
To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to pay attention to detail and have a great eye for design. You will need to keep the technical execution of the site "back of mind" as you translate the client's vision. You will need to have an intuitive sense of color, navigation and space. You will need to be able to quickly change a website based on the client’s specifications, design mockups, make coding edits, and work within a team to develop and maintain great websites.
Responsibilities
• HTML & CSS2 (Ability to hand code a must!)
• 2+ years experience in web development
• A keen eye for design
• A working knowledge of Photoshop
• Knowledge of user-interface best-practices for web design
• Understanding of content management systems
• Experience in an agency or creative environment is a plus
• Experience in SEO/PPC and website analytics a BIG plus
• BA/BS in interaction design, graphic design, information design or art
• Undergraduate or graduate degree
