Position Summary:<br>
Lead and support key projects around the Financial Stability Partnership Initiative.  Organize FSP committee meetings, collect data, and provide assistance to key partners.  Act as primary liaison between Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Site Coordinators and VSUW.  Work as team member for Early Childhood and Quality Improvement Projects.  Assume primary responsibility for ongoing input and maintenance of data system for Quality First including acting as liaison with First Things First and Subcontractors on issues related to data.  Provide other assistance to Early Childhood Programs as requested.<br>

Summary of Responsibilities:<br>

o Work with marketing to create appropriate materials around initiative.<br>

o Develop opportunities to increase financial education through work, school, and community.<br>
o Participate in development of business case to connect Financial Stability strategies in the workplace.<br>

o Provide sufficient staff support for FSP advisory committee and focus area committees.<br>
o Develop and carry out key events to further FSP initiative progress and community buy-in.<br>

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Site Liaison<br>
o Serve as primary liaison between the key partners around free tax preparation sites, including city coordinators, IRS, free tax preparation sites, Community Information and Referral, DES, and state and local coalitions.<br>
o Review reports to ensure grant requirements are being met.<br>
o Maintain information for project completion including surveys, grant reports, meeting agendas and site coordinator evaluation data.<br>
o Compile reports to send to Bank of America as required to fulfill contact.<br>
o Evaluate data entered by Americorps member to comply with Bank of America grant.<br>
o Work with partners to deliver education around tax sites within the community.<br>
o Work with partners to strengthen tax sites by identifying needs and building capacity of tax sites.<br>
<br>
Maintain data systems for Professional Development and Quality Improvement Programs.<br>
o Act as liaison with First Things First staff regarding data issues.<br>
o Act as liaison with subcontractors regarding data issues.<br>
o Input and maintain data in VSUW system.<br>
o Cross check data with FTF system.<br>

The scope of this position is broad, including implementing programs/services for current members as well as overseeing all related aspects of communication for AGF including exchange of information with members, non-members and the general public.  This includes developing and producing publications, designing and maintaining the website and other electronic communications, and maintaining the member database.  The position is also responsible for managing the operations of the organization, including accounting, technology and general office management. <br>

A.  PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES<br>
<br>
Member Programs and Services<br>
•	Work with AGF members and staff to assess members’ interests and needs and to prioritize, plan and develop high quality services responsive to those needs.<br>
•	Design/administer member surveys as needed. <br>
•	Staff the AGF Membership Committee, working with them to identify prospective members and determine the best services to offer to members.  This includes working with the President/CEO and Committee Chair to plan meetings, develop meeting materials, and follow through with action steps from meetings.<br>
•	Develop program summary for each program, post to website and include in monthly newsletter.<br>
•	Assist with planning for programs including securing meeting spaces, ordering food, and preparing program materials.<br>
•	Video tape AGF programs, edit, and upload to AGF website.  Convert video to podcast and post podcast on website.<br>
•	As required, organize webcast meetings and set up webcam to broadcast meetings.<br>
•	Work with President/CEO in drafting and sending annual dues renewals (January of each year).<br>
•	Assist in all activities related to conducting AGF special events (i.e. use Adobe Creative Suite to design program materials, implement marketing plan, process registrations, venue negotiation, etc.).<br>
•	Respond promptly and thoroughly to member inquiries and requests, completing necessary research to provide needed information and resources.<br>
•	Maintain extensive records of all programs and services through database and other records.<br>
•	Monitor and update WebLink member community website.<br>
<br>
Membership Development and Communications<br>
•	Develop/maintain marketing materials for prospective members and/or media inquiries.<br>
•	Coordinate design, layout, and facilitate printing of all publications for AGF, including brochures, annual report and other documents as required.<br>
•	Respond to all inquiries regarding AGF membership.<br>
•	Work with Membership Committee and President/CEO to implement the Member Recruitment Plan.<br>
•	Produce bi-monthly email newsletter (News & Notes) designed to inform the community at large about upcoming activities/events/services offered by AGF.<br>
•	Format/send the bi-monthly Member Exchange email newsletter.<br>
•	Provide information, materials and other assistance (related to philanthropy in general, funding trends and sources, community priorities, nonprofit organizations, and AGF activities) to those who call, email or visit our office.<br>
•	Collaborate with President/CEO in developing, proofreading, printing and distributing AGF publications and mailings to Board members, AGF members and public at large.  This includes an extensive email marketing component and requires the creation of mass email campaigns that are optimized for readability.<br>
•	Support media relations program.  Provide research, development and distribution of press releases.<br>
•	Other responsibilities, as deemed essential by the President/CEO, that contribute to the smooth operation of the organization.<br>
•	Creatively maintain and develop the AGF website, including resources, general information, Members Only site (and integration with database), program videos, and calendar of events.  Monitor and report usage and make improvements as necessary.<br>
•	Maintain member development and contact records in database and provide reports to President/CEO on member development activities as requested.<br>

Feeding America has evolved from a grass roots operation of small, local food banks and agencies into one of the most sophisticated organizations for food distribution in the world. To continue implementing its core mission of ending hunger, Feeding America is planning a comprehensive, multi-year capital campaign that will address capacity building and infrastructure. Building and expanding sustainable major gift fundraising at the national office and network levels will help to ensure the campaign’s success, and Feeding America has therefore created a new position to address the major gift fundraising needs of the national office and the network, the Director of Strategic Gifts. <br>

As a critical member of the Philanthropy teams of both Feeding America and the local network member, the Director of Strategic Gifts will be responsible for implementing campaign strategies in his/her network member location for the national office, and for managing a portfolio of local prospects with the potential to make six figure gifts for the network member. The Director of Strategic Gifts will report directly to the Vice President of Philanthropy/Strategic Gifts for Feeding America and will also maintain a “dotted-line” relationship to the Executive Director or designee of the network member. The Director of Strategic Gifts will be located in Phoenix.<br>

Job Responsibilities<br>
<br>
•	Manage a portfolio of 50 +/- strategic gift prospects. Strategic gift prospects are defined as those capable of giving a $1 million or larger gift to a strategic priority of Feeding America.<br>
•	Serve as the sole relationship manager for that portfolio of prospects utilizing senior executives at Feeding America and network members and board members and volunteers as natural partners in cultivating and soliciting gifts.<br>
•	Act as principal donor strategist for each prospect in the portfolio with specific responsibility to develop a written donor strategy and relationship record of all interactions.<br>
•	Promote cross-collaboration with network members and other colleagues engendering trust in the donor management process.<br>
•	Build a strong portfolio of prospects and donors attending to the balance between discovery, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.<br>
•	Generate a minimum of five strategic gifts each year from the portfolio. (Gifts may not reach the $1 million level to qualify). Raise at least $3 million from the portfolio each year.<br>
•	Cultivate at least five donors within the portfolio for a gift of $10 million or more recognizing that these gifts may be multi-year or lifetime (bequests) in nature.<br>
•	Mentor less experienced strategic gifts staff members in building and managing a portfolio or prospects.<br>

Application Qualifications<br>

•	Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.<br>
•	Six years or more professional experience managing high level donor relationships.<br>
•	Strong communication skills that are effective across a variety of constituencies, including donors, network members, the national office philanthropy team, and other staff members in the national office.<br>
•	Experience cultivating multi-million gifts, including developing donor strategies, solicitation approaches and donor stewardship.<br>
