Then there's the uncovering of a huge whopper of a lie over how many jobs have actually been "created or saved," as the administration likes to put it. Obama says 640,329 so far, despite the fact that we have lost 3.4 million jobs since obama was elected?????
Last week, reporters actually interested in facts, turned up some serious cases of job inflation. Examples:
- The Associated Press found that a pay raise for 508 employees was counted as 935 jobs saved.
- The New York Times discovered that $1,047 for a rider mower for a cemetery in Arkansas was credited with saving or creating 50 jobs.
- In Milwaukee, reporters at the Journal Sentinel uncovered examples of double counting, jobs for projects that hadn't received any stimulus money, and other problems.
- The Chicago Tribune found that $4.7 million sent to schools in North Chicago was credited with saving 473 jobs in a district that employs only 290 teachers.
- USA Today reported that a $26,174 grant to fix a fence and repair roofs in Texas was reported to have created 450 jobs. Actual number of jobs involved: six.
Even assuming the total jobs number is right, the administration is also defending itself against claims that the cost per job -- based on $159 billion spent so far -- comes out to more than $240,000. And of course, it doesn't help obama that all these created or saved stimulus jobs have come at a time when the ranks of the unemployed swelled nearly 600,000 in October and almost 1 million since June.
obama can complain that stimulus critics finding out the truth are right wingers, committing calculator abuse, or focusing on small data problems. But he has only himself to blame. That's what you get for trying to lie, cheat and steal from the taxpayers.
Consider a Conservative approach:
Rather than funnel the stimulus money through government agencies, he could have simply handed out roughly $6,500 in cash to every household in the country. Sure, it would have stimulated the economy and created many jobs, but the government could not become massive and control American lives?????
obama also could have avoided lying and being so hyper-focused on putting out specific job number predictions -- right down to the congressional district level -- and instead he could have lied as usual and stuck to a simple, vague claim that when the government borrows and spends hundreds of billions of dollars, it's bound to create or save some jobs.
And, of course, obama could have not bothered to make his transparency pledge at all. That is another one of the biggest lies he has been caught in. I mean with 32 czars and a socialist shadow government how can you be transparent?????
He is caught only because investigative reporters have poured through these stimulus spending reports filed and posted online that reporters and critics are having such a field day with the data.

Editor’s note: Pat Tillman would have been 33 years old today. We at Truthdig wish to commemorate his life by republishing an article by his brother, Kevin Tillman. Tillman’s story speaks volumes not just about those we have lost, but about a history of lies, deceits and cover-ups that have helped to perpetuate war and kill thousands of U.S., coalition, Iraqi and Afghan people. As we await a decision by President Barack Obama, being pressed by Gen. Stanley McChrystal, on whether or not to send more troops to Afghanistan, we can remind ourselves of the life that Pat Tillman led and let it guide us to better understand both the conflict in Afghanistan and its consequences.
Kevin Tillman joined the Army with Pat in 2002, and they served together in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pat was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan on April 22, 2004. The government deceived his family—and the nation—about the circumstances of his death for five weeks. McChrystal, who led the Joint Special Operations Command, of which Pat was a member, was central to the top-level military deceit in Tillman’s death through his fast-tracking of a fraudulent Silver Star medal recommendation and later warning in a high-priority memo of possible “public embarrassment if the circumstances of Corporal Tillman’s death become public.” Not when, but “if.”
Kevin, who was discharged in 2005, wrote a powerful, must-read document on the occasion of Pat’s birthday anniversary in 2006.
It is Pat’s birthday on November 6, and elections are the day after. It gets me thinking about a conversation I had with Pat before we joined the military. He spoke about the risks with signing the papers. How once we committed, we were at the mercy of the American leadership and the American people. How we could be thrown in a direction not of our volition. How fighting as a soldier would leave us without a voice… until we got out.
Much has happened since we handed over our voice:
Somehow our elected leaders were subverting international law and humanity by setting up secret prisons around the world, secretly kidnapping people, secretly holding them indefinitely, secretly not charging them with anything, secretly torturing them. Somehow that overt policy of torture became the fault of a few “bad apples” in the military.
Somehow back at home, support for the soldiers meant having a five-year-old kindergartener scribble a picture with crayons and send it overseas, or slapping stickers on cars, or lobbying Congress for an extra pad in a helmet. It’s interesting that a soldier on his third or fourth tour should care about a drawing from a five-year-old; or a faded sticker on a car as his friends die around him; or an extra pad in a helmet, as if it will protect him when an IED throws his vehicle 50 feet into the air as his body comes apart and his skin melts to the seat.
Somehow the more soldiers that die, the more legitimate the illegal invasion becomes.
Somehow American leadership, whose only credit is lying to its people and illegally invading a nation, has been allowed to steal the courage, virtue and honor of its soldiers on the ground.
Somehow those afraid to fight an illegal invasion decades ago are allowed to send soldiers to die for an illegal invasion they started.
Somehow faking character, virtue and strength is tolerated.
Somehow profiting from tragedy and horror is tolerated.
Somehow the death of tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people is tolerated.
Somehow subversion of the Bill of Rights and The Constitution is tolerated.
Somehow suspension of Habeas Corpus is supposed to keep this country safe.
Somehow torture is tolerated.
Somehow lying is tolerated.
Somehow reason is being discarded for faith, dogma, and nonsense.
Somehow American leadership managed to create a more dangerous world.
Somehow a narrative is more important than reality.
Somehow America has become a country that projects everything that it is not and condemns everything that it is.
Somehow the most reasonable, trusted and respected country in the world has become one of the most irrational, belligerent, feared, and distrusted countries in the world.
Somehow being politically informed, diligent, and skeptical has been replaced by apathy through active ignorance.
Somehow the same incompetent, narcissistic, virtueless, vacuous, malicious criminals are still in charge of this country.
Somehow this is tolerated.
Somehow nobody is accountable for this.
In a democracy, the policy of the leaders is the policy of the people. So don’t be shocked when our grandkids bury much of this generation as traitors to the nation, to the world and to humanity. Most likely, they will come to know that “somehow” was nurtured by fear, insecurity and indifference, leaving the country vulnerable to unchecked, unchallenged parasites.
Luckily this country is still a democracy. People still have a voice. People still can take action. It can start after Pat’s birthday.
Noor Faleh Almaleki just wanted to be a normal American woman.
The striking 20-year-old from Iraq, who'd lived in Phoenix since she was a young girl, wanted her hair and makeup to be perfect, her clothes to be fashionable. She wanted a job, a degree and a husband of her choosing.
On her Facebook page, Noor posted photos of herself and wrote: "I am spectacular," punctuated with a smiley face emoticon.
But Noor's father had a much different ideal for his daughter: a life in strict line with traditional Iraqi culture.
He made her quit her fast-food restaurant job and arranged for her to marry a man in Iraq she didn't know, according to friends and family.
Finally, police say, 48-year-old Faleh Hassan Almaleki put an end to what he perceived to be his daughter's rebellious life. Using his Jeep as a weapon, he allegedly ran her down in a parking lot Oct. 20 in what prosecutors are calling an "honor killing" to cleanse what he considered were indiscretions to the family's honor.
Noor underwent spinal surgery and was in a coma until her death on Monday. Another woman struck by the Jeep, the mother of Noor's boyfriend, was expected to survive.
Marcella Andregg, a friend for seven years, described Noor as independent, but far from rebellious and always respectful of her parents. She said Noor just wanted to live her own life, but that her father wouldn't let her.
"His whole persona was very controlling, very strong-minded in the ways he wanted it for her," Andregg said. "He talked down to her very much, made sure she knew she wasn't good enough and brought a lot of dishonor to the family."
Meanwhile, she said, Noor "just wanted to be a normal teenager," and later, wanted to finish college, marry the man she loved, and have children.
Almaleki, who fled after the attack, was stopped at London's airport and sent back to the U.S. on Oct. 29. He was on suicide watch in a Phoenix jail and has declined requests for comment. It's unclear whether he yet has a lawyer.
Noor and her family moved to the U.S. in the mid-1990s and lived in the west Phoenix suburb of Glendale.
In 2008, friends say Almaleki took Noor to Iraq under the guise of visiting family. Actually, he had picked out a husband for her and told her she couldn't return to Arizona unless she married him. Noor married the man and returned, and friends say he was in the process of trying to move here, too.
But Noor fell in love with another man, friends say, and was living in his home with his mother when she was killed.
About 50 friends and family attended a candlelight vigil Thursday night for Noor in the parking lot where she was run down. Her mother and several others wept as they stood in a circle holding candles, hugging each other and remembering the young woman.
"This was the last place that Noor was herself," said Andregg, who helped organize the vigil. "It's a hard place to be, especially for her mom, I know. I just think it was appropriate to be here instead of at a park or a cemetery."
Despite all her family troubles, Andregg and several other friends say Noor rarely if ever spoke about them.
"She always had a smile on her face," said Niki Nia, 18, of Scottsdale. "When people weren't getting along, she would always try to bring peace between them, and I think a lot of that had to do with what was happening at home. She wanted her social life to be peaceful."
Nia said Noor might be in a better place now. "She never would have been able to escape," she said.
Jim Heinrich, who was Noor's yearbook teacher at Dysart High School, said Noor affected many students' lives.
"One of them told me, 'We had everything we wanted and she had a lot of difficulties and she never complained.' She always knew her life would be OK," Heinrich said. "She was one of those people — it's like her spirit was bigger than her body. You were just very aware that she was there in a good way."
Phillip Pimentel, another friend of Noor's living in Japan, wrote in an e-mail that Noor never spoke to him about her troubles at home.
"What I'll remember and miss most about her is that she seemed happy," wrote Pimentel, 21. "Worry-free, full of hopes and dreams of the future. Such a shame that such a good person with so much going for herself was taken at such an early age."
Noor now has a second Facebook page, started by the people who are mourning her death. More than 1,600 had joined as of Friday.
On the page, underneath a photo of Noor shown with a soft smile and her hair blowing, is a message that reads:
I have noticed that not one comment has been made on your post. How sad.
It tells me that most of the people on this board are simply too wrapped up in their own stupidity and/or arrogance to recognize the real truth or at least an-other truth. JCT Confirms Failure to Comply with Democrats’ Mandate Can Lead to 5 Years in Jail

Today, Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp (R-MI) released a letter from the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) confirming that the failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) could land people in jail. The JCT letter http://republicans.waysandmeans.house.gov/UploadedFiles/JCTletter110509.pdf makes clear that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years.
In response to the JCT letter, Camp said: “This is the ultimate example of the Democrats’ command-and-control style of governing – buy what we tell you or go to jail. It is outrageous and it should be stopped immediately.”

that they actually listen to Minnesota Republican Michele Bachmann gathered to
give aid and comfort to health insurance companies who would drop the shit-tossers
from coverage if they broke their legs while marching. Also in the crowd were
numerous old people who would be dead if they didn't have government health
insurance, which does not, apparently, cover irony deficiency.
In case you can't read it, the sign says, "National Socialist Healthcare/Dachau,
Germany - 1945." And that pile of bodies would be victims of the Holocaust.
In other words, the signbearers seem to be saying, a public health insurance
option as part of an exchange that contains mostly private insurance policies
that would be semi-subsidized by some federal government money for the 15% or so
of the population who are currently without health insurance is the same as the
mass extermination of the Jews.
It's so ridiculously over the top that it makes the Rude Pundit wonder if it's
not just some clever infiltrator attempting to discredit the entire tea party
movement. If so, that's some fine subversion. But, alas, chances are this is a
real sign that people spent time and money to make because they are fucking

Congress Funds Study on How To Avoid Constituents, Stay in Office

This Friday, the tax payer funded Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) is hosting a briefing for Members of Congress and their staff on their new study: Online Town Hall Meetings: Exploring Democracy in the 21st Century http://www.cmfweb.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=294. The CMF study consisted of 21 townhall meetings where Members of Congress and CMF provided a moderator: “spoke via voice over IP, and constituents asked questions and made comments by typing them. Only off-topic, redundant, unintelligible, or offensive questions were screened, and only questions asked by people who had not yet asked a question were prioritized.”
CMF does not say what qualifies as offensive, but if this summer is any indication that definition would include anything that the Congressman did not want to talk about. In other words, this report urges Congressmen not to actually interact with their constituents, but to avoid them altogether by holding safe townhalls they can completely control. The online town halls increased constituents’ approval of the Member. Every Member involved experienced an increase in approval by the constituents who participated. The average net approval rating (approve minus disapprove) jumped from +29 before the session to +47 after. There were also similar increases in trust and perceptions of personal qualities – such as whether they were compassionate, hardworking, accessible, etc. – of the Member.
The lesson: avoid your constituents’ inconvenient questions and your approval ratings will rise. And this is a taxpayer funded study. Here is the grant from the National Science Foundation.

Since she only works 3 days a week, this gas guzzling jet gets fueled and she flies home to California , cost to the taxpayers of about $60,000, one way! As Joe put it, 'Unfortunately we have to pay to bring her back on Monday night.' Cost to us another $60,000.
Folks, that is $480,000 per month and that is an annual cost to the taxpayers of $5,760,000. No wonder she complains about the cost of this war...it might cramp her style and she is styling, on my back and yours. I think of the military families in this country doing without and this woman, who heads up the most do-nothing Congress in the history of this country keeps fueling that jet while doing nothing.

Pres. Obama has scheduled a meeting with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus for this (Thursday) afternoon.
Presumably, the Hispanic Caucus will ask the President to prove himself a liar to the American people.
Obama and his spokesmen have made a very clear promise to a joint session of Congress and in many national media appearances that illegal immigrants will not benefit from any new federal healthcare plan.
The authoritative news service Congress Daily reports that the Hispanic Caucus has threatened Speaker Pelosi with voting against a House healthcare bill if it requires full verification against illegal immigrant participation in all parts of the new federal plan.
At the moment, Pelosi is bowing to the pro-illegal-immigration Hispanic Caucus and turning a cold shoulder to all those moderate Democrats who say their constituents want the House bill to back up Pres. Obama's promises.
But your phone calls -- especially to Democrats in competitive Districts -- are creating great tension in the House leadership.
Congress Daily reported today:
Vulnerable Democrats have launched a last minute push to include language excluding undocumented immigrants from buying insurance in the exchange with private money -- a provision included in the Senate Finance Committee bill.
But adding the language to the House bill could jeopardize passage. Rep. Ed Pastor, D-Ariz., said if the provision is included in the bill, a majority of the 22-member Congressional Hispanic Caucus will vote against the rule.
Losing those votes could combine with remaining anti-abortion Democrats to leave leaders unable to bring the bill to the floor, said Pastor, a chief deputy whip. "With the issue of pro-life and other people voting against it, it becomes pretty difficult to deal with," he said.
To fulfill the President's promise, the House bill needs to have:
full verification requirements for every single part of the federal plan -- not just one part as Speaker Pelosi has now accepted.
a bar on illegal aliens from being part of the "exchange."
Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) said those fulfillments of Obama's promise would be too much to swallow: "I have already said no tax dollars shall go to support healthcare for undocumented workers. What more do you want me to do?" Gutierrez said. "I'm being consistent. But now they want to feed the frenzy of the xenophobic, right-wing anti-immigrant.
Guitierrez and other champions of illegal aliens are willing to have words that bar illegal aliens from benefits but not actual verification procedures.

Based on leaked meeting documents, it would appear that the participating nations are crafting measures that would make it easier to crack down on digital piracy -- including cutting off alleged offenders' Web connections -- as well as make it easier for authorities to search and even seize your personal computer or other electronics in an effort to root out copyright infringement.
In particular, it appears that the treaty would provide some kind of "safe harbor" for internet service providers protecting them for prosecution if they comply with the treaty's draconian measures to identify and sanction alleged internet pirates.
The groups' first objection concerns the highly clandestine nature of the meetings.
"As an instrument affecting multiple nations' laws and policy, ACTA should be negotiated in public, as has been done routinely with international intellectual property agreements in the World Intellectual Property Organization and the World Trade Organization," the coalition of 16 library, consumer, creator, and civil liberties organizations told the Obama Administration on Thursday. The groups include the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the Electronic Privacy Information Center, the Future of Music Coalition, the Liberty Coalition, the Center for Democracy and Technology, the Open Content Alliance, the Sunlight Foundation, OpenTheGovernment.org, Public Knowledge, and the group Change Congress.
According to the EFF, the U.S. government appears to be pushing for a three strikes policy similar to that just passed in France, "to be part of the new global IP enforcement regime which ACTA is intended to create – despite the fact that it has been categorically rejected by the European Parliament and by national policymakers in several ACTA negotiating countries, and has never been proposed by U.S. legislators."
Prominent public intellectuals such as Harvard's Lawrence Lessig have also voiced their concerns, with Lessig circulating a statement arguing the citizens are "entitled to question whether copyright law as currently crafted makes sense, national security claims notwithstanding."
For years, ACTA has been cloaked in mystery, with the Bush administration maintaining that such secrecy was required. Obama took this a step further, arguing last spring that a draft of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement and related materials are "classified in the interest of national security pursuant to Executive Order 12958." Executive Order 12958, issued in 1995, allows material to be classified only if publication would inflict "damage to the national security and the original classification authority is able to identify or describe the damage."
The letter comes as the secret trade negotiations continue this week in Seoul, South Korea. The U.S. Trade Representative has repeatedly declined to make the draft text of the agreement public and, according to the group of 16, has "actively resisted disclosure of relevant information during the course of litigation under the Freedom of Information Act."
The Administration's secrecy conflicts with President Obama's promise of "a more transparent, collaborative and participatory government," the groups said.
"Much of ACTA's transparency deficit stems from the disconnect between ACTA's apparent aims and its formulation as a trade agreement. In negotiating agreements focusing on traditional trade matters such as tariffs and trade barriers, confidentiality regarding some negotiating positions may be appropriate," the group said. "But ACTA aims to set international legal norms, potentially driving changes to substantive intellectual property legal regimes on an international basis. Attempts to force a multilateral intellectual property agreement through trade processes unsuited for it does a disservice to citizens, public policy, and the USTR alike," the group added.
But the groups aren't just objecting to the secretive nature of the process. They're also attacking the substance of the agreement, which they say is "heavily weighted in favor of big media companies."
"With respect to ACTA's substance, we remain concerned that the terms may not adequately account for all of the interests that would be affected. Intellectual property law requires a balance between the benefits conferred upon creators and the rights of the general public to access and use those creations in free discourse and for the public good," the groups said. "Yet the public and the industries enabling such uses would face crippling liability under an improperly calibrated intellectual property regime. ACTA could increase the risk of participating governments taking an imbalanced approach."

My grandson has had some ongoing gang related violence at his school. He was attacked just yesterday at school and defended himself. His attacker had a knife (didn't get to use it) and school officials say they cannot find any evidence of a knife. They have also suspended my grandson as an "agressor" because he faught back.
Last January my grandson while coming home from a basketball game was jumped from behind and clubbed - He had a concussion and spent a couple of days in the hospital. Last summer in July, same gang members tried to get him again - He defended himself again. He has been honor roll (straight A for 3 yrs now until this last quarter)
Police reports have filed, gang unit notified - school officials notifed .... no action yet. I have requested they remove these black marks from my grandson's record and remove the gang banger from the school.

Monday night I attended the “Stand Up America” rally in Houston hosted by the North Houston Tea Party Patriots. And while I feel the event was a resounding success, I couldn’t help but get a feeling of despair among 15,000 patriotic Americans who truly do want to see our country restored to the Constitutional Republic under which it was formed. These are all good, hard-working, salt-of-the-earth people who simply want government out of their lives as every American should. And I couldn’t agree more.
It’s not OK that we went into Iraq and killled over 1.3 million innocent civilians.
No, it’s not that feeling of hope and determination to see our country freed from the grips of corruption and the abject dismissal of the public will by our “elected” leaders which caused me such despair. It was the fact that while so many of these great Americans are so right on so many issues, they have for the most part, fallen hook, line and sinker for the Big Lie. These are the red-blooded Americans who have drunk the “Islamo-fascist” Kool-Aid served up by the main stream media, especially Fox News, and created by the Pentagon, NGOs, “think-tanks” and intelligence agencies of the world. This delusion is akin to the left-wing liberals and “progressives” who drank and still consume the “Change we can believe in” lie which swept Obama into office last year.
We were told more that 8 years ago that 9/11 changed everything. We have largely bought that lie, collectively, as a nation and because of this, let the powers that be run roughshod over our Constitution, our rule of law and our way of life all in the name of “security” and defending our homeland from the “evil doers” of the world. Not to protect and defend our Constitution, our ideals, our morals and our way of life, but to ensure the corporate takeover of the world; to enable the raping and pillaging of sovereign lands not for the gain of world peace or “democracy”, but of PROFIT and greater and greater power; and to lead humanity towards the neo-feudal system which has been their dream and ultimate end game for decades, if not centuries.
If nothing else in my life, I have learned one very important lesson: if you want to get to the truth about anything, you need to only figure out two things:
1. Who is benefitting from this?
and
2. Follow the money.
By simply taking the time and doing your own research, your due diligence and your duty not only as an American citizen, but as a member of all humanity, you will always come to the truth. As it was written in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it shall be given to you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you.”
So I put this challenge out to ALL my fellow patriots, freedom-fighters, conservatives, libertarians and liberals alike: Seek the TRUTH and ye shall find.
Reject the corporate controlled main stream media, especially the NeoCon conservative talk show hosts around the country – and yes, this includes Glenn Beck, your so-called libertarian “hero.” I know this will come as a shock to most of you who hang on his every word, but he is not your friend. He is paid VERY WELL to lead you all to a false conclusion, especially on matters of the war on terror and the “Islamo-fascist” threat. He is a Judas goat. He was given a $50 million contract! You don’t think that someone, somewhere has an ulterior motive behind paying this former alcoholic that kind of money? All he does is help to propagate the Big Lie by giving you so much of the truth that you actually believe there is no way he can be wrong about anything else, right? Wrong.
How wrong? He was wrong about Ron Paul and popped up to demonize the movement last year just as Ron Paul was gaining his greatest momentum. He is wrong about 9/11, claims the official government report and Popular Mechanics article is the definitive truth and labels anyone calling for a real, comprehensive and scientific investigation of the greatest crime ever committed on American soil, a Kook. He was wrong about the Patriot Act, which he supported. He was wrong about he banker bailout, which he supported. He was wrong about the FEMA camps which has been thoroughly proven in the brilliant new documentary, Camp FEMA: American Lockdown.
He is basically wrong about the Big Issues; the important key points which will expose the true hijackers of our liberties and leads you astray down the path of “hope.” Where have we heard that word bandied about before? Hmmm? Hope is number 3 on his list of 12 values the 9-12 movement, which he created, abides by. Hope is a false and empty emotion which only leads to inaction. He’ll take your hope and lead you all right off the cliff. That’s exactly for what he’s paid the big bucks.
Always remember this. You could eat the most beautiful, juicy and delicious apple in the world, but if there is just one drop of cyanide in that apple, it will most likely kill you. That’s the essential purpose of the corporate-controlled media. They are not there to inform or educate, they are there to indoctrinate. They are there to perpetuate the false left/right paradigm so as to divide and conquer a nation. They are there to lie, spin, distort and stretch reality to fit a pre-determined agenda. The are controlled ultimately by the same people, corporations, and monied interests who control the Federal Reserve banking system which is destroying our country by design. It’s all about control and manipulation of our minds, our thoughts, our beliefs, our attitudes, and thus, our actions.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of the conservative minds in this country have fallen victim to the manipulation of the Big Lie, which is the “War on Terror.” It’s no more than the modern incarnation of the “War on Poverty”, the “War on Cancer”, or the “War on Drugs.” All of which, I might add, have been colossal failures while lining the pockets and increasing the power of the authoritarian establishment which has benefitted from them all.
Ultimately, all the belief in the Big Lie will do is cripple the patriot movement as the outrage against the Democrats and the damage they’ve done to our nation will increase support for the Republicans. And the fake, NeoCon “conservatives” will once again be swept into power. All the while, the hundred-year war rages on as one puppet of the establishment replaces another. This is the purpose and mission of Glenn Beck. He is paid controlled opposition designed to further the establishments goals – not to re-ignite the spirit of the American freedom fighter. Quit buying into the Big Lie. You’re smarter than that.
And ask yourself the next time you blindly cheer in support of our troops, “who is benefitting from this?” Is it the country and citizens of Iraq or Afghanistan? Is it the believers of the essentially peaceful Islamic religion? Is it our troops coming home maimed, traumatized, poisoned and in body bags? Or is it Halliburton, KBR, BP Amoco, Exxon Mobil, CACI, Dyncorp, Blackwater, L3 Communications, Raytheon, Titan , GE, McDonnell Douglas and so on and so on….? Is it our federal government who has since 2001, gutted our Constitution in a power grab never before seen in American history? Who has benefitted? Follow the money. Seek the TRUTH. And if you really do support the troops, fight, with everything you have to end these illegal wars of aggression and empire-building so that we can bring them home to do what they’re sworn to do: protect our borders from foreign invasion, and protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America!

I am not a writer. I am an American. I am simply someone who is fed up with the establishment , the “elite” and the way things are not only in this country, but around the world. I am also fed up with the apathy, ignorance and arrogance of much of the American populace. I sat down today to scribble down some thoughts and the words just flowed out of my mind. You see, I know and have come to the understanding that if ONLY the people would wake up to the truth and realize the lies we’ve been told by those in power for so long, that we could peacefully take our world back from the darkness which has descended over it. Creating AWARENESS is the key and I’m just merely trying to do my little part.
I woke up over 2 ½ years ago and my journey down the rabbit hole has been enlightening, educational, sometimes frightening and time-consuming, to say the least. I have done thousands of hours of research, to include reading books about TRUE history, reading hundreds of articles from alternative media uncontrolled by corporations, and watched hundreds of documentaries; some better than others and some, a complete waste of time.
I recently moved to Texas from Chicago to be closer to family and because it is increasingly becoming a God-forsaken police-state hell hole of a city in which to live. I was even on one occasion pulled over, had guns drawn on me, cuffed, frisked, searched and had my rights completely violated for simply being white in a black neighborhood at night. Ironically, I was simply out of filtered water and on the way to the store get some more because I refuse to ingest their “healthy” fluoride. I attended the Tea Party last night to network and get involved with the local patriot organizations so I can do what I can to help restore our Republic, but I am still amazed at how many people are so snowed by the right-wing media, Fox News and especially Glenn Beck. I and many others like me, (I guess those with a lot of discernment) can see right through the guy’s little bait-and-switch, snake-oil salesman act.
I decided to sit down and write out my thoughts because of the adoration I saw last night for Glenn and the apparent NeoCon conservatives running the show. I hear them on the radio and just want to scream as they perpetuate the lies over and over. I felt I needed to reach out to these people because they are passionate in their beliefs and are working so hard to do what they can to help out our country. But they’re wrong on this one issue and it’s a HUGE issue. We can get this country back and return to a peaceful and prosperous nation once these criminals are removed from power. But that can’t happen as long as the conservatives think the only problem is the liberals and the socialists. It’s much, much bigger than that and we all need to understand and discover the Big Lie if we’re to move forward in the right direction.
We need to be told the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help us, God. Replacing Democrats with war-mongering NeoCons simply because they’re Republican, is NOT the answer to what ails our country. The left/right paradigm is an integral part of the Big Lie. We need to realize that and shatter these false beliefs once and for all. What we need are candidates and politicians, be they Libertarian, Green, Democrat, Republican, liberal, conservative or whatever label they want to put on themselves, who have SWORN to SUPPORT and DEFEND The Constitution of the United States of America. Nothing more, nothing less. They need to be vetted to make sure they are for real. The only thing which will save this country at this point is the TRUTH, justice and Constitutional candidates sworn to uphold the law of our land. Ron Paul, Marcy Kaptur, Chuck Baldwin, Charles Key, Alan Grayson, Dennis Kucinich, and Brad Sherman, are all stellar examples of the type of person we should all be supporting for public office. Just because they have an “R” next to their name, doesn’t mean they’re going to be good for our country and uphold true, conservative values. We’ve been lied to by many Republicans in the past and we’ll be lied to by more in the future.
So you may be asking yourself, how do I get the truth and how do I know it’s the truth? If the main stream media is attacking it, demonizing it, marginalizing it, calling it kooky or a conspiracy theory, you can probably be sure you’re on the right path. Use your common sense and your discernment. Follow the money and figure out who benefits. To help you on your journey, I have created a list of documentaries, websites, writers and books which are all excellent sources of truth in our world. It is what helped me to wake up to all of this and should be mandatory education for all Americans.
After all, freedom isn’t free and we need to spend the time necessary to educate ourselves about our TRUE history. We have become the most over-entertained and under-educated nation in the world and we are about to reap what we’ve sown for the past 100 years. Learn this information and share it with others in your circle of influence. This is how we get our country back. The Soviet Union was taken down by fax machines. According to Marxism, capitalism is a system based on the exploitation of the proletariat by the bourgeoisie. Instead of hiring those means of production, they themselves get hired by capitalists and work for them, producing goods or services. These goods or services become the property of the capitalist, who sells them at the market.
One part of the wealth produced is used to pay the workers' wages (variable costs), another part to renew the means of production (constant costs) while the third part, surplus value is split between the capitalist's private takings (profit), and the money used to pay rents, taxes, interests, etc. Surplus value is the difference between the wealth that the proletariat produces through its work, and the wealth it consumes in order to survive and to provide labour to the capitalist companies.[4]A part of the surplus value is used to renew or increase the means of production, either in quantity or quality (i.e., it is turned into capital), and is called capitalised surplus value[5]. Other part is used for the consumption of capitalists.
The commodities that proletarians produce and capitalists sell, are valued for the amount of labour embodied in them. The same goes for the workers' labour power itself: it is valued, not for the amount of wealth it produces, but for the amount of labour necessary to produce and reproduce it. Thus the capitalists earn wealth from the labour of their employees, not as a function of their personal contribution to the productive process, which may even be null, but as a function of the juridical relation of property to the means of production. Marxists argue that new wealth is created through labour applied to natural resources.[6]
Therefore, if someone gains wealth through the monopoly of means of production, then those who work to produce that wealth do not receive the full wealth created by their labour, nor do they have a say in the use of the wealth appropriated by the proprietors of means of production. Thus, Marxists argue that capitalists make a profit by exploiting the proletariat.
Marx argued that it was the goal of the proletariat to displace the capitalist system with socialism, changing the social relationships underpinning the class system and then developing into a communist society in which: "...the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all."[7].
