ASU student driving East (Tempe)

I'm leaving on or around Monday, May 12.
Me: male, grad-student-age, safe driver, able to sit quietly for hours.
You: ASU student (or professor), not annoying.
Cities I'll be driving thru:
Albuquerque, Amarillo, Tulsa, Springfield, St. Louis
We'll split the cost of gas 50/50. My car is roomy, leather interior, and gets about 25 miles/gallon. We can listen to your music. Light smoking is fine, and I might have one or two myself.
You can bring:
- A reasonable amount of luggage - no more than what you'd be allowed on a airplane.
- Nothing illegal (drugs)
- Firearms that are properly stored for interstate transport
- Cats and small dogs
- Unopened booze
We won't be staying at hotels. I plan to get to Tulsa before stopping for sleep, which will be had at a large, busy, well-lit rest stop.
