Good opportunity to upgrade to a full-size truck.

Sport red 2005 Silverado Z71 extended cab pickup. Tan interior, four doors, short bed with factory bedliner. All typical Chevy options (dual zone AC, cruise, power windows/locks, alarm/keyless, Bose stereo, tilt, etc.) except leather and power seats. Has been completely debadged (except for Tahoe Z71 badges) and all plastic removed (flares and moldings). Has Magnaflow exhaust. Of course, it's a 4 wheel drive with floor shifter (not pushbutton). Has MB Motoring aftermarket 17-inch wheels with 285 BFG AT tires (good tread). Has tow package with hitch and Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller already wired in.

Motor is Chevy 5.3 Vortech V8 with 4-speed auto. According to the onboard computer, I've averaged 15.7 mpg over the life of the truck so far. That's decent considering most of my miles are on surface streets with very little freeway driving (I have a 3-mile commute). Truck has optional 4.10 gears with heavy-duty tow package; rated to tow 8,700 pounds.

As it sits today, truck has 32,500 miles. I am the original owner, purchased new in August 05 at Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale. Have original window sticker, etc. I've done all maintenance myself. Oil just changed with new KN air filter. I have used this truck as a truck should be used (hauling a trailer, hauling bikes/quads, picking up loads of gravel, etc.) and it has a couple minor and typical blemishes (door dings, scratches in bed, etc.). Otherwise truck is perfect. Everything works as it should. Never been wrecked, starts every time. Been to the dealer for a couple small warranty issues I'd be happy to detail for you.

Reason for selling? I no longer haul stuff or have the need for a full-size truck.

KBB shows a private party value of $17,010. NADA shows $20,150 (average of trade-in vs. retail). Not sure why such a large discrepancy. To make it simple, my price is $17k, which appears to be a very good deal, based on similar local trucks on CL.

Trade option: Toyota Tacoma of equal or less value (if it's worth less, you make the difference in cash). No other trades considered. Truck currently has a lien, but if we make a deal I will pay it off so you'll have a clean title in hand at time of purchase.

Don't contact unless you have financing/cash and are ready to do a deal. Please don't bother lowballing; I don't need to sell this truck. LOCAL ONLY.

The side table is the HEIMDAL model, and currently sells at IKEA for 29.99. I am asking $12 for mine, as the 3 posts have some very light scuffing from the last time I moved. You may be able to remove it, but unfortunately, I do not have the time.

The shelf is actually two pieces, from the IKEA LJUSDAL series, and includes the 46 7/8" silver bracket (retails $12.00) and the 46 7/8" x 10 1/4" frosted glass shelf (retails $16.99). I am asking $15 for the shelf, and it is in perfect condition.
