•BS or a combination of coursework and similar related job experience. <br>
•2 to 5 years experience in Windows desktop and server operating systems<br>

<description><![CDATA[Yelp is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to support our fast-growing company and internal systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and enjoys helping people. We're seeking someone who is self-motivated, organized and eager to take on responsibility and improve their skills. <br>
<br>
NOTE: This position is full-time and based in Phoenix, AZ. It will requireup to 2 weeks of training from SF office. Yelp will provide corporate housing during this time.<br>
<br>
Responsibilities:<br>
<br>
    * Desktop support (Mac and Windows) (break/fix, deployments, upgrades, peripheral installation)<br>
    * VoIP/Asterisk phone system support (server and phone)<br>
    * Inventory tracking of hardware and software<br>
    * OSX Open Directory administration (user accounts, network share management, LDAP management)<br>
    * Google Apps administration and working knowledge of products* Printer/Copier support<br>
    * Assisting offsite employees worldwide with VPN and remote access issues using remote control and phone support<br>
    * Videoconferencing and Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro support* Following and optimizing internal processes and documentation<br>
<br>
Minimum Requirements:<br>
<br>
    * 2+ years desktop support experience<br>
    * Strong knowledge of Mac OS X / OS X Server<br>
    * Strong knowledge of Windows XP/Vista<br>
    * Experience with Linux/UNIX a plus<br>
    * Experience with networking hardware and protocols a plus<br>
    * Understanding of basic networking technologies<br>
    * Excellent communications skills<br>
    * Self starter, work well with remote supervision<br>
    * A sense of humor!<br>
