We are looking to fill an On-site, On-Call (PART TIME) Residential Computer Support Technician position. We are a growing residential computer service company located in the Phoenix west valley area, but your work area would be all over the Phoenix Metro area.
Must have excellent knowledge of the following:
- Windows Vista, XP, and older Windows operating systems
- Hardware troubleshooting and repair (desktops and laptops)
- Networking (wired and wireless)
- Broadband services and configuration
- Virus, Spyware, Malware detection and removal techniques
- Hardware upgrades / Component replacement
- Software troubleshooting and configuration in various products
- iPod Setup/Configuration
Most importantly, you must have a pleasant disposition and know how to communicate with residential clients effectively.
Other prerequisites:
- Valid Arizona Drivers License and reliable vehicle
- Good driving record
- Self-motivated and hard working
- Excellent record of being ON-TIME!!!
- Strong organizational skills
- Geared toward advancement of our business and of your skills/responsibilities
- Must pass a background check
Preferences:
- Live in the central, north, or west valley areas
- A+ Certifications or the desire to obtain them soon after employment (credible work-related experience may substitute (temporarily) for A+ Certifications)
