Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency with over 30 years of experience placing skilled professionals, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for a growing construction company in Phoenix, AZ.This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction administration, billing, and project coordination, who can step in and support project managers while helping maintain structure, documentation, and financial tracking across active projects.
*Pay: $22–$28/hour (depending on experience)
*Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift

Key Responsibilities
•Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative functions
•Prepare and process construction billing, including invoices and payment applications (AIA billing preferred)
•Track project costs, budgets, and billing status across multiple jobs
•Manage and track RFIs (Requests for Information), ensuring timely submission and follow-up
•Prepare, submit, and track submittals for approval
•Coordinate and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, COIs, and lien waivers
•Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable related to project billing
•Communicate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors regarding documentation, timelines, and updates
•Maintain organized digital and physical project files
•Support office operations and leadership with administrative and project-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
•Minimum of 3+ years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or project accounting
•Experience working in the construction or contractor industry is required
•Strong understanding of construction billing processes (AIA billing or pay applications preferred)
•Experience handling RFIs and submittals
•Familiarity with construction documentation, including change orders, subcontractor agreements, COIs, and lien waivers
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
•Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with Procore, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar construction/accounting systems
•Background in project accounting or billing coordination
•Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Construction Management
