Commercial Frozen drink machines are not available in any retail stores, which makes rental of the machines a necessity. The ability to serve frozen slushy to a crowd without the man power of a human server makes them especially attractive for all situations where many people are gathered. Our machines are additionally attractive because each machine serves 2 flavors simultaneously. We do not need a liquor license and we train our users to either add alcohol or not. This ability to serve adult beverages and children at parties is a win-win for the hosts.
The Phoenix market is especially ripe for this product due to the climate, although our service is useful at any time of the year. WE KICK ASS AT CINCO & GRADUATION SEASON!
Corporate Events are our most profitable and generally take place during the workweek with multiple machines at the same time.
We rent our machines for an average of $225 per machines and this includes 2 flavor mixes, delivery on a cart with a skirt, set-up, instructions and then pick-up after event. Our costs on 2 bottles of mix is less than $9.00 each. - So $18.00, our gas and our time is all it costs.
When we were doing a very minimum amount of advertising (craigslist) we would deliver at least 5 machines per week and our part-time earnings were more than $5000 per month. If we were to use Nextdoor or Facebook advertising I am sure we would have had "too many sales". Our focus for the last couple years has been our other businesses and we just haven't had time to work this one.
The business started in 2005 and has a solid track record for repeat business with name recognition and is the star of every party. The phone number is transferable and so is the website.
The business can be run by almost anyone with very little training, and a vehicle that can carry a machine. I currently use a small Honda CRV, my partner used a mini-van. This is a fun business, come in before the party, pick up after the party (usually the next day at your convenience)
