I bought this bike for something to do while my wife recovers from a medical procedure. Her recovery is excellent and we return to the Ozark Mountains in December (not a great place for bike riding). I’ve only put 59 miles on it so it is basically a new bike with nubs still on the tires.
The 2024 REI Co-op Cycles CTY e2.2 is well-regarded among cyclists, balancing performance with comfort and utility. The 2024 has a higher grade of components (Bosch 600W 63Nm mid-drive, Suntour MOBIE 80mm forks, Tektro Gemini Hydraulic Disc, microSHIFT Advent Groupset, 1X9 Drivetrain, etc.) at a reasonable price. The 504 Wh battery provides a 50-mile range. This is a Category 3 bike so you are not limited to 20 mph. it is a beautiful sage green bike in the large frame (5.8” – 6’4”). The electronics on the bike are nicely integrated with three drive modes depending on how much assist you want. You can also use the online app but you don’t have to. The total weight of the bike is 59 lbs. which is less than comparable bikes. The 2024 model had a higher grade of components compared to subsequent models and retailed for $2,959.
The CTY e2.2 comes with front and rear lights, light weight rack, metal fenders, and double kickstand. The sale includes all the necessary accessories. (High end helmet, air pump, water bottle and holder, under seat bag, tools, and security chain.
I am located in Chandler, AZ and can deliver within 100 miles. I still have the box it came in so shipping is also available. I bought the bike from Upway and got a very good deal on it. I have over $2,600 invested in it. I need to sell it by December so it is priced right at $1,895. You will love this bike.
