Brand New XT brakeset, This is not the standard 4-piston front and rear. front is 4 piston, rear is 2 piston, This is how I configure all my trail bikes for better braking symmetry. They each get a different pad compound as well. The absence of proportional braking is a widely ignored issue in mountain biking.
Complete brakeset retail cost is $249 ea side with tax, I have them for
Right Rear 2-piston $159
Left Front 4-piston $189
or combined, $325 total F and R, $360 for full 4-piston F and R, no tax
CALIPERS ONLY. 4-piston $115, 2-piston $95
The 2 piston rear helps balance out the braking forces so that the rear is not so easy to lock up. These are very strong brakes and Shimano is famous for rear end control challenges and lockup, so I have custom staggered these, same as you would find on a dirt bike. You get what is in the photos, complete lineset and pads for each included.
Also have after market brake pads for various types of riding.
