Vintage 1950-1960s, Ribbed Antique Brass Table Lamp, marked Frederick Cooper Chicago features a style that reminds me of a Genie Bottle, with its ribbed detailing. It has a Brass-colored socket, perfect for a standard lampshade, the base I believe is walnut with a felt bottom and brown cord. It has a very Sturdy construction, ideal for home, office, or decorative use and weights Just under 9 lbs. Lamp body measures 20” tall and has a 9” harp, making it 29” to base of the finial. Circumference at widest point with tape measure is 27 1/2” and measures approximately 9” across when looking straight on. Brass is in very good condition with just minor surface scratches but probably could use a light polishing. I have tested it to make sure it works and is set for a three-way bulb. The cord and socket look original. No sure if Harp and Finial are original to it, but will be included - Sorry no Shade.
According to Google Lens “The "Frederick Cooper Chicago" label, as shown in the image, was typically used on lamps produced during the mid-20th century, primarily spanning from the 1950s through the 1960s.”
