IT Tech Needed — Build & Configure a 20-Phone Mobile Device Setup
Compensation: $300-$500 flat rate (depending on experience and speed)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (on-site work required)
Timeline: 1-2 day project
What This Is:
I have a digital marketing business that uses multiple Android phones to manage social media accounts and online profiles for local service businesses. I need someone to physically assemble and configure a 20-phone setup at my location. All hardware and parts will be provided — you just bring your skills and a laptop if needed.
What You'll Be Building:
The physical setup consists of 20 Android phones connected via USB to a central host PC through a powered 20-port USB hub, mounted on a rack with cooling fans. The host PC connects to the local network via Ethernet. Each phone uses its own cellular SIM card for internet (no Wi-Fi).
Specifically, I need you to:
1. Assemble the phone rack, mount the USB hub, and run/label all 20 USB cables
2. Set up the host PC (Windows) with ADB, scrcpy screen mirroring software, and remote access software (AnyDesk)
3. Factory reset and configure each of the 20 Android phones:
• Enable Developer Options and USB Debugging
• Insert SIM cards and verify cellular data connectivity
• Disable Wi-Fi, disable battery optimization for key apps
• Verify each phone shows up in ADB from the host PC
4. Install a list of ~30 apps on each phone (I'll provide the list — includes social media apps, Google apps, automation tools, and proxy software)
5. Configure a GPS spoofing app (Lockito) on each phone with unique daily movement routes I'll provide
6. Set up basic automation macros (MacroDroid) on each phone using profiles I'll provide
7. Configure remote access so the host PC can mirror and control all 20 phone screens
8. Test everything end-to-end and verify all 20 devices are online and functional
9. Set up cable management with zip ties and label everything clearly
Skills You Need:
•Comfortable with Android phones and settings (Developer Options, ADB, sideloading apps)
•Basic Windows administration (installing software, setting PATH variables, static IPs)
•Familiar with USB hubs and troubleshooting USB connectivity issues
•Comfortable working with command line / batch scripts
•Able to follow a detailed written technical document (I'll provide a step-by-step build guide)
Nice to Have (Not Required):
•Experience with ADB (Android Debug Bridge)
•Experience with scrcpy or similar screen mirroring tools
•Networking knowledge (Ethernet, IP addresses, firewalls)
•Experience building or working with phone farms or multi-device setups

Pay:
$300-$500 depending on your experience level. If you've done this kind of work before and can knock it out in one day, I'll pay the higher end. If you need the full 2 days using my build guide, $300. Cash or Venmo/Zelle, your choice. Paid upon completion and verification that all 20 devices are online and functional.
Future Work:
This is the first batch of 20. I plan to scale to 100-500 devices over the next several weeks. If you do good work, there will be ongoing paid work for maintenance, adding new batches, troubleshooting, and scaling the system. This could become a regular side gig.
