We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our camel ride team for weekend and holiday events throughout the summer season in Tempe, Arizona.
This is a fun and unique job working around animals, families, and live events. You will be working directly with the public, so a positive attitude and strong customer service skills are extremely important.
**Pay:**
Starting at $19/hour
**Schedule:**
* Mostly weekends and select summer holidays
* Evening events
* Typical shifts can range anywhere from 6 AM to 11 PM depending on the event schedule
**Job Duties Include:**
* Controlling and organizing ride lines
* Maintaining safety on and around the ride platform
* Assisting families and children on and off the camel ride
* Interacting professionally with customers
* Setup and cleanup duties
* For qualified individuals: handling, walking, feeding, and cleaning camels
**Requirements:**
* Must be dependable and show up on time when scheduled
* Must work well with families and children
* Must be comfortable working outdoors in Arizona heat
* Must be able to stand for long periods
* Must be able to easily lift 50+ pounds
* Reliable transportation required
* Hoof stock or livestock experience is a plus, but not required
* Training provided on the job
