I have four JBL Professional 4638 bass-bins in new/like-new condition. I bought these new many years ago and two have never been used. The other two have had very light use and may still not be broken-in yet. One has a grill that I made that looks like it came from the factory. This one was used the most as I used it as a home-theater subwoofer. I then added a second one to my home theater. The one used the most was likely has no more than 200 hours of very light duty on it. The other one might have 100 hours on it but probably less than that. These are professional-grade speakers and have huge output capacity. As a subwoofer, I recall playing a movie at moderate volume in my upstairs room, and was able to notice light fixture vibrations in the bathroom on the first floor, on the other side of a 3500 square foot house!
Price is for a single speaker. I have the original boxes and packing material. I should also have the owner's manual that came with them, I just need to find them. These are in like-new condition without any flaws. All are in the same condition with the exception that one has a grill that I made for it (looks very nice).
Speakers are made for commercial movie theaters and concert venues and are serious pieces of equipment. Each bin contains two 15" JBL professional woofers and have tremendous output. My plan was to use these as subwoofers in my home theater but have finally come to the realization that they are just overkill (especially four of them!). They are large and heavy and I need to downsize. While they are not true subwoofers, they can produce low bass when setup correctly (do Internet search if this is what you'd use them for). You can also use them as a bass-bin and build a full-range speaker around them. There are many horns that can be used (some even larger than the bins themselves if you want to go really extreme). While they can play extremely loud, the greatness of these speakers is their effortless sound with very low distortion.
Due to size and weight, local pickup is highly recommended.

Two 380 mm (15 in) Low Frequency Transducers with Exceptional Performance
The JBL 4638 low frequency system is designed for cinema use and general reinforcement where smooth power response and accurate reproduction are essential. The 4638 employs the latest in JBL low frequency transducer technology, offering exceptional performance benefits. The JBL 2035H 380 mm (15 in) transducer employs a coppersleeved magnetic pole piece which reduces internal flux modulation and provides a more stable magnetic field. This substantially lowers both second and third order harmonic distortion. The copper-sleeved pole piece design of the 2035H also creates a flatter impedance curve, resulting in a nearly perfect resistive load throughout the operating range of the transducer, and producing a more constant power response characteristic below 1 kHz. This helps maintain a smoother and more natural sounding power response transition between the low and high frequency devices in the crossover region, resulting in, among other benefits, more accurate reproduction of dialog throughout the listening area. The 2035’s voice coil operates in a large Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG™) magnet structure to further reduce harmonic distortion to inconsequential levels. With a sine wave input of 100 watts, third harmonic distortion is no greater than 1.0% and second harmonic distortion is no greater than 0.8% at any frequency between 100 Hz and 500 Hz. The enclosure is constructed of dense stock and is extensively braced on all panels. Net internal volume is 225 liters (8 cu ft) and the enclosure is tuned to 40 Hz. Port area is large, ensuring minimum turbulence at full input at low frequencies.
