Macayo’s Mexican Food is seeking experienced restaurant leaders to join our team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment at multiple locations across the valley. This opportunity is open to candidates at different levels of management, from emerging leaders ready for increased responsibility to experienced operators who can take full ownership of a business unit.
Our culture is centered on execution, accountability, and consistency. Management positions are hands-on roles for individuals who lead from the floor and take pride in running strong operations.
What You’ll Do:
• Support and lead daily restaurant operations (FOH and BOH)
• Execute high-quality service during peak volume with control and awareness
• Manage shift flow, staffing levels, and labor in real time
• Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to standards
• Ensure consistency in food quality, facility standards, and guest experience
• Oversee hiring, training, and team development
• Utilize POS and Inventory systems and reporting to monitor performance across labor and COGS
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 2+ years of restaurant leadership experience (shift lead, assistant manager, or manager level)
• For GM positions; experience with full P&L oversight is a must.
• Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership presence and communication skills
• Understanding of labor management, restaurant pacing, and guest service fundamentals
• Experience with Toast POS systems preferred
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• 50 hour work week with 2 consecutive days off
How This Role Can Scale:
• Assistant Manager level: Focus on executing shifts, supporting the team, and developing leadership skills
• Manager / General Manager level: Full ownership of operations, team performance, and financial results
Compensation:
• $55,000 – $80,000 base salary (D.O.E. and Position)

Additional Notes:
This is a hands-on leadership role. Candidates should be comfortable working on the floor, making real-time decisions, and maintaining standards in a high-volume setting. Restaurant management experience is required.
