Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensures all materials received are assigned proper lot # and entered in our system.
· Ensures all materials received have a POD and PO#
· Coordinates finished product distributor’s inventory, responsible for second count for discrepancies found in completed inventory.
· Responsible for insuring product is stored properly (frozen, reefer, dry)
· Responsible for transportation of raw materials to production floor.
· Daily truck/forklift/EPJ inspections- report equipment service needs.
· Keeps process and procedure book for warehouse updated.
· Ensures warehouse is SQF certified ready at all times.
· Must be in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Hazard Analysis Risk-based Preventative Control (HARPC).
Skills and abilities:
· Operate forklift, walkie rider and stand up reach, stand up.
· Knowledge of DOT related areas.
