The 20ft Studio Tiny House is built for efficiency. Design follows Scandinavian principles, prioritizing clean lines and functional space. This unit supports various uses: a primary home, an Accessory Dwelling Unit, or a dedicated guesthouse. The structure is NOAH Certified and built to current IRC standards for structural quality.
Exterior Materials
The front exterior has open-jointed cedar cladding. The rear paneling uses steel siding for reduced maintenance. Windows are double-paned, argon-filled aluminum units. A mahogany entry door with frosted glass panels is finished with natural linseed oil.
Interior Layout
The interior layout maximizes usable space. The design places the kitchen ahead, the sleeper to the left, and the bathroom to the right. Walls are natural cedar, which regulates humidity and smells great!
Kitchen and Bath
The kitchen area maximizes storage and function. Appliances include a refrigerator/freezer, induction cooktop, and external-venting hood. Countertops use rubberwood butcher block finished with natural linseed oil. The bath features a European-style flush toilet, a rainfall shower head, a standard sink with storage, backlit mirror, and closet space.
Performance and Hookups
The home uses a 9,000 BTU mini-split for consistent climate control. Hookups are simple: standard hose threads and a septic/sewer connection. The electrical system is ready for 50 amp service (NEMA 14-50P RV plug with 25ft extension). Rockwool insulation provides thermal performance (R-23 floor, R-15 walls, R-30 ceiling).
