Beautiful Danish modern teak dining set that’s been in my family for years. I’m genuinely sad to part with it, but it’s just too small for my much larger, new space.
The table has held up incredibly well over time—despite kids, no coasters, and no placemats, the surface still looks great. It’s honestly rare to find wood tables today with this kind of durability. Most newer ones (especially those with veneer) scratch or peel so easily - just check the reviews of most tables on major retailers like Room and Board and Crate and Barrel.
The set includes four teak and leather chairs that complement the table perfectly. Two seats have some wear and tear that could easily be reupholstered or covered, but it’s not noticeable when the chairs are tucked in.
The table also features a built-in leaf, allowing you to convert it from round to oval depending on your needs - no need to store or attach anything separately. This set is functional and timeless. I have had it in a formal living room and also in a kitchenette area for casual dining as it can be dressed up or down depending on the surrounding decor.
These classic sets are hard to come by, especially in such solid condition. I truly wish I could make it work in my new home as I am sad to see it go. Serious inquiries only.
When fully extended, I believe the table is 60 inches long and 42 wide. I will double check this.
