Hi! I run Angus cows like Black Angus, Red Angus, Charlois, and Herefords on Registered Black Angus Bulls. The steers I get out of them have prime beef characteristics and are perfect for your backyard. The marbling and intermuscular fat is amazing. They are all vaccinated, wormed, and weaned. These steers are all very gentle, friendly, and kid safe. These steers are a good way to secure your beef as prices continue to soar. Our meat has always and will continue to grade prime at the butcher. Our steers are known to be the best meat many butchers have ever cut. These are raised on our family ranch. They DO NOT come from the auction where disease and illness are spread. Let me know if you have any questions at all, I would be happy to talk you through the process of buying, raising, and slaughtering if it is your first time.
The steers are at our family ranch in Superior right off of Highway 177. You can pick them up there or they can be hauled to your house upon purchase for a fee depending on how far away you live.
We breed year round so we will get a few steers every week so if you give me a few weeks notice I can get some picked out for you.
We normally sell our steers at weaning weight(3-400lbs) but sometimes we have larger.
