NEW YEARS' CHICKS: $10
Please have you CHICK SUPPLIES before you pick up your chicks:
1. BROODER with bedding (I can sell you a brooder with bedding for $20 if you need one). An open top box works well unless you have cats.
2. HEAT PLATE: available on Amazon for $30.00 (seramas are delicate and do better with a heat plate than a heat lamp, but that's a personal choice). If you're buying new, the price is comparable to lamps because lamps require clamps and expensive bulbs.
3. QUAIL SIZED FOOD/WATER DISHES and CHICK STARTER FOOD, Serama chicks are TINY, similar to a quail chick. These items are available on Amazon or at Pratt's Pets, Tractor Supply and many Walmarts.

Seramas are the smallest chicken breed. Kikirikis are smaller, but not a recognized breed which causes confusion. While kikirikis are a wonderful bird in their own right; I raise Seramas, not kikirikis. Seramas make wonderful pets and fun show animals. Besides being stunning, the roosters are friendly and easily trained. The roosters are not aggressive at all. My newest roosters were recently house chickens and wore diapers before they came to me! House chickens and chicken diapers (available on Amazon) are real, look it up:D
The rooster being held is a full grown rooster. He is not for sale, but he is a good example of the size these chickens mature into. Seramas are easy to work with and tame easily.
All pictures are my own birds. With the exception of the buff orpington on the little girl's lap (because. . .oh, so cute), all babies are 100% serama chickens. All of my roosters are Seramas and I only hatch Serama eggs. If you come during the daylight hours, you can meet the flock. I'm a home educator, children are welcome.
